Ashley Battaglini is a Ph.D. student in the Clinical Psychology program at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Ashley has completed a Master’s Degree at UBC, including numerous clinical practica through the UBC Psychology Clinic. Ashley has received clinical training in providing evidence-based treatments for depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, managing life stress and adjustments to life transitions. Ashley has experience working with clients of different ages across the lifespan using cognitive behavioural therapy in both individual and group settings.
At Changeways Clinic, Ashley provides cognitive behavioural therapy for individuals experiencing depression and anxiety-related issues, such as social anxiety, panic, obsessions, compulsions, phobias, worry, and difficulties with self-esteem as well as stress related to daily living, life changes/adjustments, or transitions, and academics. Ashley Battaglini’s clinical work is supervised by Changeways Registered Psychologist, Dr. Trisha M. Kivisalu.
Ashley’s goal in therapy is to support, guide and empower clients to make meaningful changes in their lives with the ultimate goal of reducing suffering and improving quality of life. Ashley is respectful of the intersection of culture, race, sexuality, and mental-health in people’s lives.
