Welcome to Changeways Clinic.

We focus on three services. Click on each to learn more.

This site also provides information on psychological issues, such as depression. You can also download resources for free, including Self-Care Depression Program in English, French, Punjabi, Chinese, and a special edition for teens.


Coming September 1, 2008:

The Changeways Clinic Core Program: A Cognitive Behavioural Guide to Depression, with 8 hours of MP3 Audio talks illustrating concepts, providing metaphors, and guiding the reader through the process.

This new release includes the complete Guide for Participants from the most widely-used depression group in Canada, plus an MP3 disk with the 8 accompanying talks by Dr Randy Paterson, the program's senior author. The talks are not a reading of the guide. They add dozens of stories, ideas, and recommendations that help bring the material alive for the listener.

Individuals with depression can work through the manual and talks on their own, or with a physician or therapist helping out. Clinicians can provide clients with individual MP3 talks to listen to between sessions.

This program makes evidence based cognitive behavioural concepts more accessible to the public, and enables clinicians to make the most of limited numbers of sessions.

Availability: Through this website, and at bookstores.

Price: $50.00 plus GST. A special edition for clinicians (with more copies of the audio material and a CD-ROM with pdf copies of the written guide) will also be available.
