The Depression Map:
Individualized Treatment for Depression

The Depression Map is our two-day training program on individualizing treatment for depression. The goal is to provide clients with components of treatment based on their unique cluster of risk factors and life circumstances.

  • Your Depression Map, by Randy Paterson, PhD. Published by New Harbinger Publications (307 pages). Written as a self-help resource for people suffering from depression, this book includes over 50 separate exercises and lifestyle modification sections. For more info on the book, click here.

  • The Depression Map CD-ROM. A set of over 70 documents in Adobe Acrobat pdf format designed to be printed, then used with clients. Over 400 pages of material altogether. Most documents are adaptations of exercises and information documents found in Your Depression Map, but reworked for use by therapists. Includes the Depression Map Questionnaire, a tool for tailoring the treatment plan.

  • The Depression Map: Individualizing Treatment Using Component-Based Therapy. A guide to the documents on the CD-ROM, providing usage tips, suggestions for in-session work, and guidelines on scoring the Depression Map Questionnaire.

These materials can be ordered in several ways.

The Standard Set includes Your Depression Map, The Depression Map CD-ROM, and the therapy guide.

The Basic Set provides just the CD-ROM and therapy guide, omitting Your Depression Map. We include this option mainly because some people may already own Your Depression Map and not wish another copy.
